The competitive world in Rainbow Six Siege is expanding every year, especially with Siege X coming soon. Ubisoft has introduced an exciting new feature: the Rainbow Six Siege Esports Tab, launching with Operation Daybreak this June.
Revealed at RE: L0: AD 2025, Operation Daybreak offers more than just balance changes and visual updates. It brings a major upgrade to the esports infrastructure within the game. Key features include a revamped Clash mode, updated maps, and the new Esports Tab, a dedicated area to follow all competitive events, from global tournaments to team statistics.
The Esports Tab is located between the Career and Shop menus in Siege X. It serves as your main source for competitive information. Inside, players can see a calendar of live matches, check team standings, find upcoming tournaments like the Six Invitational, and view stats from top teams like FaZe Clan and CAG Osaka.
Ubisoft aims to make Siege esports easy for everyone. By including tournament details in the game, casual players can quickly learn about the events and watch the action without needing Twitch or YouTube.
Unlike many shooters, VALORANT and others have not fully developed an esports tab. Siege has a big advantage because it does. VALORANT’s esports hub helped its competitive scene grow, and Ubisoft aims for the same success with Siege.
Ubisoft plans to improve even further. In Year 10: Season 3, the Esports Tab will grow. Each Tier 1 tournament will have its own page with brackets, prize pools, and live updates. A global leaderboard will show which teams are close to qualifying for events like the Six Invitational.
This focus on data keeps hardcore fans informed and welcomes new players. The easier it is to follow your favourite team, the more likely you’ll watch and cheer for underdogs to succeed.
Not everyone jumps into ranked play right away. Many players enjoy Siege for its gadgets, destruction, and character stories. Now, with the new Esports Tab, Ubisoft is connecting everyday players with competitive players.
Even if you’ve never watched an esports match, the tab is easy to use. You can quickly see who’s playing, when, and why it matters. It serves as a learning tool, a way to watch matches, and helps turn Siege’s large player base into dedicated fans.
With Siege X going free-to-play and the Esports Tab launching in June, the timing is perfect. Ubisoft is focusing on growing the competitive scene. By featuring pro events in the game, Siege could catch up with other big first-person shooters.
As we've seen with games like VALORANT and Fortnite, better esports support usually leads to a more engaged community. Siege is ready to take that step.
